The Hidden Costs Of The Hustle

By Evan Sanders

That dream you have is free.

However, the hustle, is going to cost you a hell of a lot more.

When you're on the path to doing your best work life seems to get very simple. You work insanely hard, go to bed, and awaken to work hard all over again. Monday through Friday are the norm for most except for entrepreneurs and those who are attempting to create something amazing. For the hustlers, Saturday's and Sunday's exist as another 2 days of opportunity to get ahead.

Welcome to the grind.

This grind is going to test you in ways you've never been tested before.

Dreams don't happen unless you work insanely hard. You have to live up to your potential and if you give your dream anything less that 100% you will struggle to see it achieved. It's not that what you have done before wasn't "good enough," but it's the fact that you have to grow into someone new to achieve this vision. You aren't that person yet, but you will be.

If you are willing to listen to the soft internal voice inside of you helping you travel the path you were meant to walk you can become something great.

Throughout your journey, people are going to tell you what you need to do with your life and how you should live it. That's fine. Listen to them. But in the end, make sure you trust yourself and you follow the vision for where you are headed. If you constantly get sidetracked by what other people tell you to do and lose your way because of opinions, in truth you really don't deserve to accomplish your vision. You must stay focused on what you are doing at all costs.

I'll say it again, welcome to the grind.

So embrace the hustle, embrace the pain, and embrace failure. These are all elements of success. Have faith that if you keep going towards what you love with determination, you may ultimately arrive right where you were meant to be.

Go all in on yourself. Play a big game in life in order to win big.
