Make Your Own Adorable Minky Blanket

In this world, full of stressful things to worry and think. There is one creature for sure that has the capability to erase all of it. And the people usually calls them, babies. Staying nine months in the womb of the mother, people around the newlyweds tend to become busy. Excitement and commotion will be then visible to every friends, relatives and families eyes. Shopping things and stuffs the baby needs is the first priority of the people. Buying stuffed toys and the important things the baby will use including the clothes the baby will wear. The fragility of their tiny bones and soft skin are the parts everyone should protect.

Harmful and low quality products to be used for the babies must be avoided. It is necessary to be wise and knowledgeable enough in choosing the right stuffs to use for them. A widely known comforter that is made of special kind of wool to ensure the babies warmth, this is what they call as minky blanket. The fiber is known to last longer that any other fibers.

Purchasing this luxurious type of comforter is expensive. Paying too much just for a piece of blanket is not practical. There are a lot of other important matters that a baby needs. In order for you to save money and still provide your angel with this special comforter, here are some useful steps that you can use to make your own personalized bed lining.

Provide a yard of printed cotton woven, a yard of minky fiber, a string to connect and a embroidering materials. Provide the mentioned materials first before starting. To begin with, laundry and dry your cloth then after use drying, iron it with a warm temperature.

It depends to how big you want your comforter will be. Make as many blankets as you can by estimating and using the cloth wisely. Cut them to your desired size and dimension. The way to cut a cotton is with the use of scissors but it is best to tear them. Tear the edge off of each opposite side. After tearing it measure it using a ruler to your desired length and width. Give enough allowance to avoid textile shortage.

After cutting them both, lay them together now by putting the printed part down and the soft part up. You need to put them at the right position to make the expected result. Before removing the unneeded part, make sure to put some pins to avoid adjustments.

After, bind the together using the thread you have prepared and pull off the pins that you pinned. Use the back stitch. Leave a whole or a space between the cloth, measure about two to three inches.

Pull out the bed lining after finishing the embroidering part. Take out everything through the hole side that you left. Do your finishing touches now by making sure to remove the edges and closing the hole. Close everything and do not put any extra spaces. You can use an iron to press down the lining to make them flat.

After doing all those process. It depends to how fast you are, but for sure you can even make one piece within one hour. As simple as that, you had already done a beautiful but less expensive blanket. The stuffs that you can buy in the stores are just almost all the same.
