Say Yes Or No To A White Faux Fur Rug

By Douglas Davis

A beautiful home is always a nice sight to see. Everybody want to impress their family and friends by showing off your perfect house with its immaculate walls and glorious details. Jaws will drop at the front of your door. Sounds like a dream come true. A plus side of that is your home does not only look nice but it also feels nice too. Add a touch fur rug in it and you will be living the celebrity life.

But despite its varied uses, the practice of killing animals just to get their skins of their bodies has environmentalists and animal lovers in super rage mode. The very high demand of these skins pose a threat of disappearance to many species of animals. It has then led to the invention of faux garments. So just invest your money on a white faux fur rug. But keep in mind that this item has a pretty bad side too.

The very common advantage of buying faux pelt is that you do not have to deal with your conscience. Feeling guilty of buying real animal skin will not make you confident about the place you are living in. Hunting for animal skin is even illegal in some countries, so expect to be in jail any time soon. Just kidding. You can beautify your house without feeling so remorseful every time you look at it.

Buying something fake is also more affordable than buying something original. Well, it is called an original for a reason. Killing animals and peeling their skins off is no easy task, unless you secretly are a sadistic person. Counterfeit animal skin is made by synthetic fiber, which is why it costs less.

Maintaining and replacing bogus pelt is easier too. Maintaining real fur could be such a hassle on your part. You cannot just wash it easily. Meanwhile with fake ones, you could just throw it in with the rest with your laundry and just wait for it to be done. If you damaged the animal skin by washing it, you could also replace it anyway because it does not cost that much.

If you possibly are already bored with the pelage that you have at home, dye it with another color. Now your house has a multicolored fur. Personalize the item and make it unique as possible. You do not want to mess with real pelt though. Do not experiment your creative side on a cloth that costs way more than you think.

But having a pelt that is fake is not entirely good for the environment too. So do not buy a lot of phony pelage. As said earlier, these things are made with synthetic fibers. These fibers are made from limestone, petroleum, coal, water, and air. Have mercy on the environment and do not horde fake ones because eventually, the environment will become sick of you and just stop producing these natural resources that we need.

Counterfeit pelt is also not that resistant to the cold weather. It does not provide adequate warmth, which is needed to be in your lovely abode. Compared to the skins of polar bears and wolves, their coverings can withstand the harshest weather conditions.

Lastly, fake pelt may not be as comforting as you find it to be. If you compare it beside real genuine pelt, there will always be a marked difference between them. Real animal skin is a lot smoother, with a cotton like feel meanwhile the faux one is rougher.
