Know About Olive Grove Baptist Church

By James Miller

Faith is an abstract word that means a lot. When speaking about religion, there is nothing more controversial than its differences. It might have been a neutral word if not because of its contrasting concepts. Sometimes instead of contributing to the betterment and peace of our society, it contributed to conflict and wars. In this article, we will learn about Olive Grove Baptist Church.

To those who were not able to see the difference between living a life with strong faith and living a religious life, then you are headed to the right page. Sometimes, we get so confused about its significant differences because we are so blinded with the teachings of our parents. Let us not do it this way. We can always set our own standards when we get older.

Our norms and standards are only acquired from the society that we live in and from our parents and guardians. Our parents were the ones taking care of us since we were born until this day. Meaning to say ninety percent of our values and beliefs come from them. Even though we do not usually spend most of our time with them these days, we still act according to their teachings.

If our faith is strong to enough, it should be expressed properly and not in a boastful way. We all have different way of thinking, respecting the mind sets of each other should be practices. Since each one of us has different cultural backgrounds, different family upbringing, and contrasting values, there will always be a midpoint. This will bring us peace.

By focusing on our midpoints or common grounds, we will be able to build a more meaningful connection with each other. These common grounds will help us unite despite our conflicting values and different backgrounds. It is not our fault that our parents have taught us these things. It could also not be our fault why their parents raised them that way.

Our back subjects and previous experiences are one of the sources of our present actions. We can no longer change the mind sets of others since they were living almost half of their lives believing in certain concepts. Even though how hard we try to convert the principles of someone, we can never do that unless we are his or her parents. When we were young we were molded and shaped according to how our parents want us to grow up.

Meaning to say, when we become criminals in the future, it might be our fault but part of it is the fault of our environment. Studies have shown that those children who were raised in a decent environment were already professionals now. However, those who have harsh beginnings with their immature parents, these children usually became criminals and by standers. This has been clearly evident nowadays.

A lot of missionaries are already executed and tortured in these areas. Crimes occur because they resist change and they have lived their entire life being brain washed by faulty moral standards. This issue has been a challenge to each and everyone to help our fellowmen realize how important our faith is. Despite our differences, we should still unite with each other.

In this way, we will have an opportunity to let them know that being stuck with the conventional teachings of a particular religion without acting on it is no use. Actions will always speak louder than words. For someone to be strong with his or her faith, he or she must do something for the betterment of society. We should do our role as instruments.
