Cover Up And Miami Ink Tattoos

By Darren Hartley

The dispersal of the tattoo ink about a millimetre deep under the skin is the effect of getting tattooed. It stays in the skin layer called the dermis, located under the epidermis, the visible skin layer. Inking a cover up tattoo over an existing tattoo does not replace the old tattoo. The pigment of the new tattoo is simply mixed with the pigment of the old one.

The careful planning of what design to use for the complicated cover up tattoo is very important. Remember that cover up here actually refers to hiding an old tattoo and not pounding blank ink over its top to replace it. Areas of solid black ink to completely eradicate an old tattoo is not required in a good camouflage.

There is a good approach to designing your cover up tattoo. It involves drawing a design using the shapes of the old tattoo. A copy of the old tattoo is placed on a tracing paper or acetate with the use of a sharpie or skin marker. The copy is then placed on a light table and a clean paper sheet is placed on top of it. The various options for the cover up design are then drawn on the clean sheet over the copy of the old tattoo.

Available on the internet are unique tattoo designs referred to as Miami ink tattoos. Four simple steps consists the process of getting one. After signing up on their website, you can choose a design from the 25,000 designs available. You then save your chosen design on your computer and have it printed out.

It is for people who are extremely choosy about body art that Miami ink tattoos were created. A tattoo is never just a literal or universal thing for these people. Rather, it is a more personal and even complicated endeavour. Other than being a visual representation of an idea that was born from inside the head, a tattoo is an expression of how a person sees himself. It is also an expression of how a person wants to share a passion with the outside world.
