Writing your own inner thoughts and feelings has been used for a long time as partial treatment for numerous problems. Writing in a journal is often one of them whether a person is coping with depression, anxiety, or otherwise. This technique can be used with a professional, in a group or with oneself. It is often utilized to understand the occurrences, emotions and other parts of the experiences. Even though negative things may be written about, it is also encouraged to include positive things as this can speed up the healing process.
