If your dreams don't really scare you then they aren't big enough yet.
Dreams challenge you in ways that you would never ever think you would be challenged. But most of all, they bring a type of fear to the table that could paralyze you if you let it. The immense pressure that comes along with chasing dreams is astronomical and has to be handled with care.
Most people will attempt taking the journey of their dreams once or twice and give up after they fail. But when you are deeply committed to your dreams, you have to try time and time again because you almost certainly will not nail it on the first time. Big dreams will test your personality, your resolve, and your willingness to see something through even if you cannot see it right now.
When that heavy fear comes in, what can we do?
Nothing.
Instead of trying to do something with it or push it away, manipulate it, or change it why can't you just sit with it and really feel what that fear is trying to tell you. Because when you stop running from things you end up finding the answers you need.
Feel your fears and they will teach you everything you need to know about what's actually going inside of you. They will teach you why you suffer and what it is that you need to work on. But most importantly, when you decide to feel your fears you develop deep relationships with them of understanding instead of avoidance. When you come to this place, you could build strong foundations in your life instead of always being on the run.
When you decide to take your fears head on and struggle through them no matter what, you give yourself the opportunity to start developing some serious strength in your character and willingness to face the uncomfortable. When you can do that, you are developing invaluable skills that will help you achieve your dreams.
Don't run from your fears. Run straight into them.
