With a height of usually 18-23 inches and weight of 35-70 pounds, they are usually grown to guard their master's house or as cattle ranches.

This kind of dogs are known to be bred to herd which means they typically would attempt to herd everything and anything including squirrels, ducks and even people. They also have protecting instincts that are strong and they have this characteristic of wanting to be close to their masters all the time.
